​​ZRKR Membership has multiple benefits for those Karate enthusiasts who seek to join a group of like minded individuals focused on collaboration and the furthering of personal development in traditional martial arts.  Memberships range from simple (Free) uncommitted "friends of the arts" to more formal curriculum driven memberships (fee schedule on the application) with standardization of the original forms of Okinawan Kempo, dojo affiliation, personal instruction, or instructor certification, rank achievement, etc.  
     
Our style of Ryukyu Kempo or traditional Okinawa Te is authentic.  We do not teach or acknowledge the nonsense charlatans of "magic" no touch knockout tricks that have distorted the Ryukyu Kempo name and perception of our style, nor are we the "softened" versions of Ryu styles that have done away with makiwara training and bogu kumite.
   
Ryukyu Kempo is not a sport.  It is a style dedicated to life protection.  ZRKR is a group built by dedicated leaders who have trained and been certified by Hanshi Albert O. Geraldi, Founder of Ryukyu Kempo in the United States (circa 1974) and was the highest ranking student of Seiyu Oyata before he passed.  Hanshi is one of, if not the only living practitioner with authentic teaching papers signed and stamped by Nakamura, Oyata, Uehara, and several other notable Okinawa masters of the All Japanese Karate-do league, and the Okinawan Kenpo Association.
